Take this easy shrimp recipe as a token of my apology. I recommend this shrimp sauce be paired with Smokey Jollof Rice.



Quick Garlic Ginger Shrimp Sauce

Here is a quick sauce for you to try! This recipe pairs perfectly with Jollof Rice.

  • 8 Large Shrimps
  • 3 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 3 Tbsp Ground Ginger
  • 3 Tsp Garlic Salt, Black Pepper, and Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 Tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Cup Diced Onion, Red Pepper, and Scallion
  • 4 Tbsp Fresh Dill


  1. Add oil to deep wok pan and heat for 30 seconds. Add onions, red pepper, and scallions and heat for 1 minute.

  2. Add ginger and garlic. Stir on medium heat for two minutes until fragrance is less intense.

  3. Add shrimps, dill, and seasonings. Stir fry for 4 minutes. 

  4. Serve with sides of your choice.  I recommend Smokey Jollof Rice!
