Sweet and Spicy Chicken Stir Fry

If you are a sucker for quick and easy recipes like me, then my series of stir fry recipes will be perfect for you. This particular one will satisfy your craving for something sugary but spicy at the same time.

  • 5 Boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 5 Small assorted sweet peppers
  • 1/2 Sliced onion
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tsps Pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp Sea salt
  • 2 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 3 tsp Olive oil for heating


  1. Cut your chicken thigh into bite-size chunks

  2. Using a wok pan, heat the oil

  3. Stir in the onion slices on medium heat for 2 minutes

  4. Add the chicken chunks and stir with the onions for 6 minutes

  5. Add soy sauce, brown sugar, sea salt, pepper flakes, and sweet peppers. Leave to cook on medium heat for three minutes You do not want the peppers to become soggy

  6. Add the honey and and rice vinegar. Allow to simmer on low heat for 3 minutes

  7. Serve with a starch of choice. I chose rice and fried sweet plantains.
